Cooperative Preschool

A cooperative preschool allows parents to be actively involved in the classroom with their child. Parents are required to schedule times during the year to assist in the class. A volunteer parent board sets school policy and carries out administrative duties.
Elma United Methodist Cooperative Preschool offers classes for 3 year olds, (Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 am - noon) and 4 year olds, (Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:15 am - 12:15 pm). The 3 year old program is generally limited to 12 children with 3 adults present. The 4 year old program generally limits to 20 children with 3 adults present. All classes run with 2 teachers and 1 parent volunteer. Children are elligible for a class if they turn that age (3 or 4) by December 1st of the current enrollment year.
ALL CHILDREN MUST BE POTTY TRAINED.
A non-refundable registration fee of $50 is required at the time of registration. The completed registration form and fee must be received by the registrar to hold a place for you child.
Tuition: Coopting: 3 year old program: $75 per month*
4 year old program: $115 per month*
Tuition is collected over a 9 month period. Payments are placed in the tuition drop box located in the classroom. Please make checks payable to
EUMC Cooperative Preschool.
*A non-coopting option is available to parents who are unable to assist in the classroom during the year. Tuition for this option is $95 per month for the 3 year old program and $135 per month for the 4 year old program.
Parents are responsible for assisting in the classroom and are asked to help in at least one extra duty for the preschool. Please check the parent handbook for additional information.
